Senica Air Conditioning, Inc. serves the Pasco County, FL, area for all air conditioning service needs. Air conditioning maintenance contracts are available to help customers save money on their utility bills. There are three things customers need to know about their HVAC systems. Understanding the system helps the customer know when to call for service.  The first is how the system works. Basically, air conditioning maintenance begins with the air filter. Incoming air is drawn through the filter, which traps dust and dirt. The air flows over the evaporator coils. These coils are filled with refrigerant. The refrigerant draws the heat out of the air; causing condensation which flows down the drain. The air then flows into the air ducts and into the rooms. The ducts should be cleaned by an air conditioning service on an annual basis. The second part of the system is the condenser unit outside the house. This is where the refrigerant is stored. The warm refrigerant returns to the condenser coils. These coils are cooled by a fan similar to an automobile radiator fan. The cooled refrigerant returns to the system again. During air conditioning maintenance, the coils, motor and pump are checked thoroughly. Bent coil fins are straightened, and the refrigerant levels are checked. Your local air conditioning service company will replace worn belts, add oil or refrigerant if necessary and perform any repairs needed The last part of the system is the air ducting. Although not a routine part of air conditioning maintenance, it should be inspected and cleaned on an annual basis. This helps your system deliver clean air to your home. Senica Air Conditioning, Inc. has qualified and skilled technicians to clean and repair your air ducts and perform any air conditioning service necessary. By maintaining the ducting system, your utility bills will be lower as well.
